This mosaic panel was commissioned by a business/university alliance. The organization wanted the design to represent the ongoing interaction between the business community and academia. The resulting mosaic depicts the two worlds of school and work (the circular areas), connected by a dynamic flow of ideas and involvement (the white & gold areas).

The mosaic is a free hanging panel, made of various opalescent sheet glasses, smooth and rough marble, and 14k gold glazed handmade porcelain.
