This mosaic was commissioned for a fitness & physical therapy center associated with a religious hospital. The donor wanted the Kesslers to incorporate three concepts into design: Physical Health, Medical Health and Religious Health. Interweaving across the entry wall are various vignettes depicting sporting activities, medical fitness therapy, and a scene from a church playground.
The Kesslers used the Franz Mayer of Munich Company in Germany to fabricate and install the mosaic. With its vast resources of materials and international reputation, the Mayer Company makes a perfect partner with the Kesslers, assuring timely fabrication and superior craftsmanship.

Working with Italian glass smalti and white marble in both polished and rough forms, the Kesslers' design achieves a realistic, yet contemporary feel. Every piece is carefully selected and fitted into place, creating the unique mosaic appearance.
Fabrication
A craftsman at Franz Mayer of Munich carefully places smalti. Edge material, ,ade of rough-cut marble iborders the design.
Checking Progress:
A lift raises the Kesslers of the ground so they can preview the mosaic.
Installation:
The mosaic is mortared into place on the wall, working from one corner to the other.
