The cost of stained glass windows and mosaics are determined by many factors, such as design complexity, materials used, size, location and installation details. In order to give a firm price, all of these factors must be known. We can usually estimate a price range once design preferences have been discussed. It is very helpful to know which of our previous designs are most appealing when estimating future work.
It is also very helpful to discuss budget considerations early, so that we can design accordingly. We are very willing to work with you to make the design complexity, material selection and budget come together comfortably.

Payment in two installments: |

-- 50/50 (Usually for jobs under $10,000.00). |
| -- Half upon approval of design and signing of contract |
| -- Half upon conclusion of contract (delivery or installation). |

Payment in three or more installments: |

-- 50/25/25 or 25/25/25/25 (Usually for jobs over $10,000.00). |
| -- Up to half upon approval of design and signing of contract. |
| -- 25% upon either procurement of major materials and/or completion of fifty percent of fabrication. |
| -- 25% upon conclusion of contract (delivery or installation). |

Kessler Studios does not charge for the Initial Meeting (see Commission Process page).

After the Design Meeting, we do ask for a design fee to proceed with work. The design fee amount varies depending on the size of the project. The fee is non-refundable, but applies towards the total project cost.

The design fee covers the cost of the initial design and a couple minor revisions. If major re-work is requested, an additional fee may be required. That fee would be in addition to the overall cost of the project.
