In this window, the Kesslers incorporated many different design techniques. Using mouth-blown "antique" glasses for dramatic shading effects, the window makes a strong visual statement with a minimum range of color. Added to that, the Kesslers used sandblasted and painted detailing. Lead came of various widths was used, becoming as much a design element as the colored and clear textured glasses.
