The design, with its rich coloration, creates an undulating, upward movement within the window. The colors drift into clear glass at the top, which then continues into the circle above. The clear glass allows the design to flow from the tall rectangle into the circle where, a barrel vault skylight, running the entire length of the roof’s ridgeline, would have rendered colored glass ineffective.
