St. Vincent Elementary Mosaic

This  mosaic was commissioned by a Catholic elementary school.  The design incorporates symbolic images that the children can easily understand.   The mosaic reinforces the positive experiences of school, stresses the importance of spirituality, and encourages personal growth.  The Kesslers used a variety of materials to fabricate the mosaic:  Glass smalti, gold-leaf tessera, broken tile pieces, hand-made pottery, granite and marble.
