The Great Room is a conference room that will also be used for religious services. In keeping with the facility’s ties to academia, the design equates education with the planting of the of seed of knowledge, and the ripple effect that it creates. Thought is like a flower, always evolving, always becoming. Flowers and education both have life stages that drift one into the other, never ending. The seed of an idea is planted in one’s mind, where it is pondered. It matures slowly, then is shared again. This evolution of shared thought, a uniquely human quality, allows for great sophistication of thought with unimaginable potential.
The room also services as a Chapel, so this window, with a more spiritual theme, serves as a backdrop to the Altar.
